A-Frame Sites

The Emerald Valley Inn’s two A-Frame sites are located on our beautiful property west of Port Angeles, 10 minutes from Lake Crescent. They offer a unique camping experience with mountain and forest views near the heart of the Olympic National Park.

Sites T1 and T2 include one picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, and a Solo Stove fire pit. There is also access to fresh water, a portable toilet near the campsites starting in late June through the summer season, in addition to plumbed men’s and women’s restrooms behind the cafe, and a shower room (one free 30 minute shower per day is included with renting an A-Frame site). You will also experience our mini-zoo with goats, chickens, and emus on the property.

Please note these are unfurnished camping structures that eliminates the need for a tent. Two padded mats are provided inside to accommodate the sleeping gear you bring with you. Our a-frames are not furnished cabins.

Parking is available for one vehicle a short walk away. If you are looking for a site where parking is permitted directly at the site, check out T3, T4, T5, T6, or T7.

Bundled firewood is available for purchase onsite.

Located just 15 minutes west outside of Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing, and exploring you can find on the Olympic Peninsula. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Park, so take your time and enjoy your stay!

Things to Note

*Bring your own camping gear.

*These are primitive structures with fire pits, shared restroom facilities and access to fresh water.

*Please keep in mind that this campsite is on private property.

*There is a shower available for campers. One free shower a day is included with renting an A-Frame site. (PLEASE NOTE that towels are not provided.) There are plumbed men’s and women’s restrooms behind the cafe building, as well as a portable toilet near the campsites starting in late June through the summer season.

*Sites are limited to 2 guests, or 1 family sleeping in one tent driving a single vehicle.

*(Max 4 guests at a site) For parties of multiple guests and vehicles please book an additional site or contact us directly.

*Bring your own fire wood, or we do have bundles available for purchase.

*To add to the beauty of our remote area, there is limited no lighting at night. This is important to remember if you plan to arrive late after sunset.

*There is no WiFi service available at the tent sites. However, we do have good LTE/4G cell reception while on the property via the AT&T and Verizon networks in our area.
